The Final Conference For The European Hprs project ended on 24 April 2015.

The Hprs Conference was attended by business partners from leading companies, students from technical institutes and representatives from the local press.

The conference was organized by IMAL at the prestigious G. Fini Auditorium of CONFINDUSTRIA Modena, in conjunction with the project partners JM COLOMER SA (Spanish company), XILOPAN SPA and ACIMALL.

An illustration was given of the technological innovations related to the HPRS project and applied within the wood-based panels industry, or rather, an innovative technique for applying resin to drastically reduce resin addition rates, lower toxic emissions, reduce energy requirements, as well as overall production costs and improve efficiency at the same time, with the possibility of extending the application to other industries such as the food industry and the ceramics industry.

Special guests invited by IMAL to attend the event included the Mayor of Modena, Gian Carlo Muzzarelli, and Valter Caiumi, President of the Confindustria.

Other guests present at the event were Michele Frascaroli, Technical Manager of CRIT, (Centre of Technological Innovation Research), Luca Montorsi a researcher at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, Marco Romeo Managing Director of CiaoTech (PNO Group), Dario Corbetta Manager of CEPRA ACIMALL, Ernesto Buriani Technical Manager of XILOPAN SPA and the Presiding officer of the assembly, Claudio Sanfilippo Sales Manager of Rancati Advertising.

The technical results were illustrated by Lauro Zoffoli, General Manager of IMAL and by Mario Lugli and Daniele Lai two of IMAL’s project managers.
