The main knowledge is in all the different wood based panels such as MDF, Particleboard, OSB, Plywood, as well as all the different processes applied to the boards after manufacture, like lamination, veneering and so on.
The company works as a dealer/consultant for various machine manufacturers based in Italy, Germany, and Austria etc.
As well as selling equipment that is cost-effective and environment focused, the company also designs its own systems and controls for a better utilization of the wood (saving and reusing waste etc.). One of the most important activities of the company is the development of mechanical parts, (main and secondary) for equipment manufacturers, such as Imal s.r.l. which is the present case.
The company has an office in Barcelona where the administration and main commercial activities are carried out and a workshop in Valencia where the development and service for the represented companies take place.
The company expanded in 1975 to include the renovation and sale of second-hand machinery acquired in part-exchange for new units. Since such equipment was manufactured by represented companies, JMC was able to provide all the necessary technical support to its customers directly. Furthermore, JMC performs technical services for some brands. For these sectors, J.M.COLOMER, S.A., has exclusive dealership rights in Spain for some of the world’s top companies.
It is a small company but well established on the Spanish market in the field of the initial elaboration of wood products.
